Françoise Mariotti's guest during the Comédie du Livre 2013 was Paula Dumont who talked about her new book ((Les Convictions de Colette). The Café du Genre took place at the very colorful Martin's Club in the "Ecusson".

Paula a déjà écrit cinq ouvrages. Elle présentait sa dernière publication, sur Colette, son auteur fétiche.

This is Lili, whom I introduced to my blogger friends at the end of last year via Laurence Alcan's beautiful photos.
At that time, Lili was about to give birth to her twin daughters, Emie and Anaé.

I took the photo of Lili harvesting "white figs" from the tree in Françoise Mariotti's Garden of Eden, in August 2011.

ABC Wednesday.... K stands for Kheffache

Many thanks to our friend writer Mokrane Kheffache for bringing such a wonderful chocolate cake last night.... and thanks a lot to our host psychologist Françoise Mariotti for decorating it so nicely with rose petals.

Cafés du Genre

Cafés du Genre (gender cafés) take place once a month at the Café Joseph, on Place Jean Jaurès in Montpellier. They have been created and are still organized and hosted (and led) by psychotherapist Françoise Mariotti.

On last Monday, Françoise invited young American author Katherine Roussos, Ph.D., to talk about Littérature et Libération (I think I don't need to translate that).

I am not a die-hard feminist at all but I understand that in some countries women need to get some more freedom.

The people who commented most on Katherine's ideas were men!
