A very nice encounter

Today was a lucky day. I met Roberto Alagna and the young soprano who is going to sing with him in a few days, at the opera Berlioz in the Corum.

I think he must be more famous in foreign countries than Jean Jaurès.

Melodious singing and good wine

On last Monday, I attended a recital and a wine tasting party at the "cave" Les Côteaux de Montpellier.

The party was organized by the association Montpellier Diva. Our wonderful diva, Nathalie Nicaud, who is the "lyrical ambassadress of the city of Montpellier" sang . It was a great treat for us to listen to her for more than an hour.

The food and the wine were very good too....

But I was very surprised to see that the "cave" now sold its wine in cans also!

M. Benaut, the site of the "cave" has not been turned in English yet....


Lundi dernier, j'ai assisté à un récital et à une dégustation de vins à la cave Les Côteaux de Montpellier. La fête était organisée par l'association Montpellier Diva. C'est notre merveilleuse diva Nathalie Nicaud, qui est ambassadrice lyrique de la ville de Montpellier qui a chanté. Ce fut vraiment un grand plaisir pour nous de l'entendre chanter pendant plus d'une heure.

Le buffet et le vin étaient très bons aussi....

Mais j'ai été surprise de voir que la cave vendait maintenant son vin en canettes aussi !

M. Benaut, le site de la cave n'a pas encore été traduit en anglais. Peut-être une occasion de remplir la vôtre de cave (bien que le vin australien soit très bon lui aussi !).
