Yesterday I visited the Oppidum in Nages, not far from Nîmes. The site of the oppidum is huge.
I thought those walls were Roman but actually they date back to the protohistoric period and are about 3000 years old.
I was fascinated. I wish I could have photographed all this from a plane.
Hier j'ai visité le site de l'Oppidum de Nages, pas très éloigné de Nîmes. L'oppidum est immense.
Je pensais qu'il était romain mais en fait il date de la proto-histoire et serait âgé d'environ 3000 ans.
C'est vraiment fascinant à voir. J'aurais aimé pouvoir le photographier vu d'avion.
