Touching the red pompon of a sailor's béret is supposed to bring you luck. The young girl in the photo had five pompons to touch and five sailors to talk to during the Fête de Saint-Louis in Sète last year.
I hope she bought a lottery ticket and hit the jackpot.
The title of this post means "Sunday pompoms." Pompon in French sounds like pont pont (pont is the French word for bridge).
On Sundays, Louis la Vache's blogger friends are supposed to post the photo of a bridge. Well, there is a big bridge right behind the black billboard.
