ELAN D'ART, Montpellier Contemporary Art Show, was held last weekend at Le Corum (Conference Center and Berlioz Opera House).
My visit there on Saturday evening was too short. The last visitors were leaving as one can see in the bottom photo. Still, I had the time to realize that the quality level of the art shown was much higher than it was a few years ago. I wished I had been able to go again on Sunday. Oh well, I will visit the next show if I am still in Montpellier by the time the show takes place in November 2012.
I admired paintings by Vidal de Rueda, Théo Rem, Thierry Bedoux, Apignat and many other artists, whose names I will add to my note as soon as I can figure out where I have put the business cards they gave me. :-))

J'ai visité en coup de vent le salon d'art contemporain, Elan d'Art, qui s'est tenu au Corum de Montpellier le week-end dernier. J'ai parlé avec certains artistes et leur ai dit que mon rêve de toujours ou presque serait de promouvoir un échange entre les artistes français de ma région, et mes amis artistes américains de San Francisco, et d'ailleurs.
