Ruby Tuesday ...... Alice's dress

Alice is the name of the actress in the photo, and the name of the major character in "Alice," a movie by Woody Allen. Like the fictional Alice, played by Mia Farrow, Alice Taglioni has lost her boyfriend.

Un des films mis en scène par Woody Allen s'intitule "Alice". La jeune femme de l'affiche est l'actrice Alice Taglioni. Rien à voir avec l'Alice de fiction de Woody Allen, laquelle est interprétée par Mia Farrow, à part le fait que toutes les deux, la vraie comme la fausse, ont perdu l'homme de leur vie. 

The One is the Other

 I took the photo in "Les Aubes, not far from La Pompignane. I do not know who these candidates were. I think they did not belong to the same party. I do not remember if the man's poster was on top of the other one or vice versa.
 I couldn't help thinking of Elizabeth Badinter's book, The One is the Other.
Mrs Badinter's husband, Robert Badinter, is the man who managed to have the death penalty abolished in 1981.

New Show

I hope you all had a very nice Easter weekend. Mine was very busy. I had my children at home for two days and I loved it.

J'espère que vous avez tous passé un super week-end de Pâques. Moi j'ai reçu mes enfants les deux jours et j'ai adoré ça.

Je ne sais pas si le nouveau spectacle, c'est celui du monsieur en photo sur l'affiche de ma photo ou celui des politiciens. Voter, ne pas voter, that is the question :-)

This is a little addendum to the attention of Leif Hagen (Eagan Daily blog) who likes quiches (endive quiche and (irresistible) mascarpone verrines. Just before serving the verrines, I added pieces of gariguette strawberries an a few mint leaves.
