ABC Wednesday..... P is for Pompignane

The neighborhood where I live in Montpellier is called "La Pompignane."

At "La Pompignane," we have a piscine (swimming pool), une poste (post office), a parc (park) with a special place for people who play pétanque, and also a few problèmes (problems). :-)

Therefore this ABC Wednesday was an easy one for me!

If the problems could be solved, "La Pompignane" would be the best neighborhood in Montpellier, on the way to the sea.

La Pompignane

I took this photo from my balcony a few months ago, in the early morning, when the sky was cloudy everywhere but in the east.

J'ai pris cette photo sur mon balcon il y a quelques mois, au petit matin, alors que le ciel était couvert sauf à l'est.

UFO ?

No, this is not a UFO. It is the public swimming pool of my neighborhood, la Pompignane. It is a "sunflower swimming-pool."

Non, ce n'est pas un OVNI. C'est la piscine publique de mon quartier, la Pompignane. C'est une piscine tournesol.
