Some good news!
Today is a great day. Valérie, my son Greg's girlfriend and Capucine's mother, has passed the CAPES (CAPES de Lettres Modernes). She will be a certified teacher after training for a year.
The CAPES is a very difficult competitive exam. Only three other candidates passed it in my region (Languedoc-Roussillon. The CAPES has nothing to do with the American teaching certificate.
Valérie, compagne de mon fils Greg et maman de Capucine, vient d'être admise au CAPES interne de Lettres Modernes. C'est une grande joie. Quatre candidats seulement ont été retenus dans la région Languedoc-Roussillon cette année.
