Daniel Cordier (here between my friend Ada and her friend in white shirt) was secretary to Jean Moulin during WWII. During the Rencontres de Pétrarque, he signed his books and let us take photos, after a rather long speech before the public. I bought his new book and when I told him, "See you next year," he answered, "You are an optimist."
