The Sun King

The statue of Louis XIV has been placed so high that it is impossible to take a good shot of it. It is right in the middle of the Jardins du Peyrou.

Can you imagine a Sun King riding a horse, without spurs?

In a way, this is a case of "photographer photographed." It is a photo of the webcam that has been placed on the roof of the beautiful old building that dwells the office du tourisme.

The problem is the system used by Viewsurf, the company that installed the webcam, shows a few seconds' sequence "en boucle" (loop sequence?) for a few minutes and changes it for another few seconds' sequence, etc.

Personally I think it is not a very good system. If you have a webcam in your city which works in real time as a camera is supposed to work, please let me know. I will tell the mayor :-))
