ABC Wednesday..... Q is for quiche

Sometimes I think I am the quiche queen or the queen of the quiche (or whatever...). I already posted a photo of a home-made quiche last year:

J'ajoute quand même une petite rose, plus romantique que mon plat cuisiné. Si vous êtes sur Montpellier en ce moment, allez voir les rosiers de Grammont (devant le théâtre). Ils sont magnifiques.

Fatou and Blanchemain

On last Friday I attended the opening of an exhibition in the deconsecrated church of Jacou, a town near Montpellier. The "church" was actually the chapel of a castle.

The artists were Jean-Michel Fatou (Indian ink drawings) and Antoine Blanchemain (watercolors). Antoine Blanchemain is also a writer and is a member of Autour des Auteurs (ADA), an association gathering writers from the Languedoc-Roussillon region. I am a member of ADA too (my page).

The old chapel made a perfect exhibition hall for the refined, elegant works of both artists.

Vendredi j'ai assisté au vernissage d'une exposition des encres de Chine de Jean-Michel Fatou et des aquarelles d'Antoine Blanchemain, dans l'ancienne église de Jacou, près de Montpellier. En fait, cette église était la chapelle du château de Jacou. Elle a été désacralisée et sert maintenant de salle d'expositions. Un lieu absolument parfait pour les très belles et élégantes oeuvres des deux artistes qui y ont exposé ce week-end.

Antoine Blanchemain est aussi écrivain. Il est membre de l'association Autour des Auteurs dont je fais partie aussi.
