While I was in Uchaud a few weeks ago, I took a small trip to Générac where I could see one of the oldest castles in the area. It dates back to the 11th century. Almost one thousand years old!
As the legend goes, King Saint Louis used to go up to his room mounted on his horse, in the Château de Générac.
Quand j'étais à Uchaud, il y a quelques semaines, j'ai fait une petite excursion à Générac où j'ai pu voir l'un des plus anciens châteaux de la région. Il date du XIe siècle et est donc âgé de près de mille ans !
Selon la légende, Saint Louis montait l'escalier conduisant à sa chambre à dos de cheval.
