I really wonder if Arthus-Bertrand is as famous in the rest of the world as he is in France. He let the Green party show his new film, Home, in Montpellier, 48 hours before the European election last June. Home was shown on the French public TV channel France 2 the same evening. As a result, the Greens won a lot of seats at Strasbourg (European Parliament).

RépondreSupprimerI've known of and appreciated Arthus-Bertrand's photos for some time...I don't agree that his beautiful photos negate the point he's trying to make. I'd guess they attract people precisely because they are so well done...and hopefully, will see the need to take better care of our home, the earth!

Oui "Home" a été vu dans 165 pays le même jour. Mais ici aux US quand je parle de Yann Arthus Bertrand les gens me regardent drôlement. Le fait d'être patiente aide car je ne lâche pas le morceau facilement...

En grand, dans la nature, à Montpellier cela a l'air d'être magnifique et les passants se sensibilisent j'ose espérer.

Je n'aime pas beaucoup les expos mais celle-là j'aimrais bien la voir. C'est l'homme qui nous montre des photos merveilleuses de la terre vu du ciel. J'ai en mémoire un île en forme de coeur.
