ABC Wednesday..... R is for Really good

Yesterday I had an espresso at the famous Café Trieste, close to the Green Tortoise hostel where I am staying. The coffee was excellent. I was said that Francis Ford Coppola wrote The Godfather while sitting at the terrace of the café, and that the café appears in one of the films made from The Godfather.

  5. The Trieste has been there forever, and there was also a place called Malvina's across the street, although I'm told that's gone. The Trieste was also the favored meeting place for the San Francisco Beats; Allen Ginsberg preferred to be interviewed there.
