Monday Murals.... Toulouse-Lautrec at Odysseum
One of the most famous paintings by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Moulin-Rouge (Training of the New Girls by Valentin le Désossé), adorns the back of the roundabout at Odysseum. Isn't this a great mural?

I post this photo today as a small tribute to my friend philosopher Guy Boisson who found a few years ago that Locke's Journal had neve...
A wonderful mural! Nice to see it in a place like the back of a roundabout.
SupprimerThat's fabulous! Everyone must enjoy it.
RépondreSupprimerWhat a happy find this must have been. It's not every day one runs into Toulouse-Lautrec on the corner. haha. Now that you've explained the scene, it makes me wonder if the public could watch the training? Otherwise, who are these other ladies and gentlemen? A wonderful scene that gets one to thinking. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
