Today I just want to mention two blogs that I find very nice (of course, they talk about Montpellier).

The first one is called Le gâteau sous la cerise. "La cerise sur le gâteau" is an expression that means "the icing on the cake." Elsa, the owner of the blog, has reversed the expression (=the cake under the icing). Elsa has grown up in Montpellier and she pays homage to the city on her blog.

I found the link to the second blog on Elsa's blog. It is Le blog de l'Hérault. If you understand French, you will learn a lot about the département de l'Hérault whose capital is Montpellier, and about its history.

If you do not understand French, you will see a lot of beautiful photos of Montpellier and a lot of places in the département. The photo above has been found on Le blog de l'Hérault". It shows "le Scaphandrier" (deep-sea diver), a building located on La place de la Comédie.

Both blogs are worth the trip! Please go and visit them, and then let me know what you think.

European Union

27 poles with the flags of the 27 countries making up the European Union have been erected along the Corum, at the far end of the Esplanade.

The Corum is a convention center and an opera house. It looks like a big ship.

I like all the people in the EU but I am not sure the EU has been beneficial to my country.
