Just a little pink rose today. An antique rose found in a beautiful garden in Les Aubes, the neighborhood next to mine.
And a little personal secret. My ex-husband now spends his summers in Minneapolis with his new wife. I am sure he does not care at all about my being concerned by the accident that occurred yesterday, but that does not prevent me from hoping they were not caught on the bridge that has collapsed.
Or else I would have written "old varieties" or something similar :-))
RépondreSupprimerBeautiful rose marie and I hope the people you care about are safe.
RépondreSupprimerThank you, Jules. That is very nice of you.
RépondreSupprimerI like your old rose. It looks like a double. I used to like roses and still have one. A very old single pink that the Japanese Beetles are eating up this summer.
RépondreSupprimerThe accident in Minneapolis is all that is on the news today. I watched several hours of it last night.

I reckon there are two kinds of lifestyle.
RépondreSupprimerOne has quality, and the second has quantity.
Your beautiful rose tells me which is le meilleur.

RépondreSupprimerwow, the rose looks soo healthy, and the petals my oh my the layers of petals it has :)
RépondreSupprimerHello Marie, Yes, you can translate some pages if you wish. It is already published, as you know, but you can promote the book if that is what you want to do. I am in the process of working on a new one and this one would have photographs. How does that idea sound to you?

RépondreSupprimerMaintenant je comprends l'allusion d'un autre jour à propos d'un copain pour aller en Provence! Touché!
I love old roses. They have such a wonderful appeal.
RépondreSupprimerWhy think about your ex? Anyway, this photo is lovely.

I understand, we wish no harm to anyone, even those with whom we have difficult histories. Your rose is lovely.
RépondreSupprimerWhat a beautiful rose. It looks quite old-fashioned!
