Australian rugby fans

The Australian rugby fans have arrived! I met them. At least I met some of them yesterday. Very nice people. I was the first French person who talked to her. I told one of them he should make a wish.... They are from Sydney and they were drinking Australian beer in an Australian bar (not the lady, since, as you know, ladies do not drink beer :-))

Good luck to the Wallabies who will be playing against Fiji this afternoon!

(Actually I support all teams!)

  1. Well, there you go, Marie.
Culture has finally arrived in la Belle France. The lady must have been from New Zealand or Naples, perhaps. These can easily be mistaken for Aussies !!
Australian women undergo years of training in the art of drinking beer ! I imagine that Jules would back me up, here, but she's in Vietnam.
Thank you for posting these shots. It's nice to see Aussie places in France, but it's also nice to soak up the culture and traditions of a your lovely country and to drink beer - naturellement - bière française.

Today I will show you the small celebration in the Adelaide hills, that you were not able to attend. You were missed by all your friends.

  2. Hi Marie, loved to read your post and that you support all teams. It's a nice help for the only amateur team in the pro championship - the Portuguese Wolfs!
You made me remember a rugby fan that once told me: "I support 2 teams: the All Blacks, and anyone playing against Australia". Imagine the nationality... ;))

  9. Y'a-t-il vraiment un bar nommé Ayers Rock à Montpellier ? Est-il tenu par de vrais Aussies ? Si oui, il faudra que j'aille les voir un jour, maintenant que je suis sur Avignon...

I think that you are "quite at home" everywhere in the world.
Dites, s'il vous plaît, "G'day mate" à eux pour moi aussi.
