Do you know who that "man" is?
Does she remind you of a famous "woman"?
Talking about celebrities..... the photos in the right-hand side of this blog are the covers of books I have translated.... John Locke's Journal, Jesse James's biography, Juliet by Katerine Mansfield...
The smoking man represents Serge Gainsbourg, a very very famous French singer/musician who died about ten years ago. He was very very politically incorrect. If you don't believe me, listen to this:
The "lady" is Mona Lisa. Her face is very different from Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa but her hands and smile make her rather easily "recognizable," I think :-))
YOU SHOULD CLICK ON MONA LISA'S FACE AT THE TOP OF THIS MESSAGE. THAT MIGHT WELL BE MORE POLITICALLY INCORRECT THAN LA MARSEILLAISE BY "GAINSBAR" :-)

You should get on the Amazon affiliates program and link those covers to Amazon, so that if anyone wants to buy the book, they can click through to it. And, of course, you get a little money from the sale yourself!
RépondreSupprimerThe first thing I thought about is DeGaulle (spelling?) because he used to walk around during World War II with a cigarette dangling out of his mouth. And, he had a big nose.
RépondreSupprimerMy apologies if I have offended you but that is the only name that came to my mind.
I think that the gentleman once said a naughty thing to Whitney Houston, on TV ?
RépondreSupprimerI think that the lady has a twin sister dans le Musée du Louvre à Paris ?
Je ne dirai pas plus pendant une petite minute.
Bravo, M. Benaut :-))
RépondreSupprimerAbraham you didn't say anything that could have offended me. It is true that General de Gaulle had big ears and a big nose, and he was a tall man. I don't remember him smoking...
Thank you, Ed. I think theyu are already on Amazon...... Too bad.
HA Mona Lisa and DeGaulle! Very interesting, Marie!
RépondreSupprimerMaybe Ed means you should put a link on this blog page to the books on Amazon so people can order them. I hope they do!
The man looks like Serge Gainsbourg but I don't know who the woman is. Tell us do.
RépondreSupprimerI find myself returning every half hour or so to see how this quiz is going. I haven't been so curious for ages.
RépondreSupprimerI'll wait for the final assessment!! ((smile)). I'll be back!

RépondreSupprimerDon't know who the people are but I'm sure when you tell us it will be obvious!!!!
Any man speaking French, or better, English with a French accent, reduces me to mush (except Charles De Gaulle) I'll just keep playing the Serge G. clip thanks.
RépondreSupprimerIl y a quelque chose qui fascine un, au sujet de l'inexactitude politique.
RépondreSupprimerJe pense qu'il stimule très, mais pas chacun peut le faire avec le grand succès.
