Riddle
Can you guess what this rather new building is called? It stands along the river Lez, at a short distance from the School of Economics (Faculté des Sciences Economiques).
Pouvez-vous trouver le nom de ce bâtiment assez nouveau ? Il est situé le long du Lez, pas loin de la Fac de Sciences Eco.

Interesting new building. I have no idea what it is called but for a new building, it is fairly attractive.

RépondreSupprimerCould it be the Red Tower!! It is an interesting building.
RépondreSupprimerBergson, mon bon ami. C'était une question facile. Trop dur - fffffh !!
RépondreSupprimerIt has taken an hour of research to find this building, but I have at last found it.
It is called, " La Résidence Les Consuls de Mer ", a modern 118 room hotel on the Avenue du Professeur Etienne Antonelli and only about 2k from La Pomignane.
I think that from the top floor, I will have a good view to the north, next August.
Marie, this area is so clean and neat and tidy. The streets are wide and pretty. This town is a credit to France. I can't imagine anyone wanting to leave such a beautiful town.
Marie, je pense que Bergson a besoin d'une visite à votre ville. Pour la bonne santé et un peu du soleil ! !
The pencil, was also my first guess.

Est-ce que m.Benaut qui vit à l'autre bout du monde aurait trouvé la réponse ??? Il est fortiche notre Ami Australien !
RépondreSupprimerBravo bravo to Quintarantino and to Steve. It is called "le Crayon" (=the pencil)because of its shape. I don't know whether it is part of les Consuls de Mer, M. Benaut. I will inquire. But there are several "Crayons" in the same area.

RépondreSupprimerI think the pencil, without looking at anyone's comments, that's my guess. It just looks so much like a pencil--I hope that's it.
RépondreSupprimerThank you for your comment about Mama--she's a bit better. Since my husband died in 1983, I can relate in some way to how you feel, having lost your dear mother so young. LeRoy was 36 when he died; I was 35; Lamont was 7, Leland 4. We've made it, day by day, just like you, dear Marie.
