You Make My Day

Olivier has just granted me the "You Make My Day" award. Thank you very much, Olivier. You made my day!

I have found the award rules on Alice's blog:

"""The award rules say: "Give the award to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the award several times."""

A lot of blogs bring me happiness and inspiration every day! I am happy to give the award to Jules, Bergson, Abraham, Wanda, Barb, M. Benaut, Jilly, Mary, Steve, RamblingRound, and gmg (and I'd like to grant it to my other blogger friends).

The award has been designed by Susupetal.

I wish I knew how to put it on my sidebar...but I'm very novice when it comes to those computer things.

But thank you...I am honored and will treasure it.

  8. Marie -- thanks for the award. Coming from you, it is a real honor. Je suis très excité. C'est un plaisir veritable.

Mardi Gras is this year is February 5th -- it moves around and this is just about as early as it gets (it falls on Feb. 5 about every 40 years. The bulk of the parades start the weekend of Jan. 25. But a lot of balls and parties are going on now. And there is a real raucous parade this week in in the lower French Quarter -- the Krewe du Vieux Do -- which everyone pronounces crew of view.
    Les bon temps roulent maintenant.

  9. Congratulations! I don't think that I have ever told you that reading your blog is one of the reasons I started to do the CDPB. You seemed so nice and gracious and I loved reading about where you live. You and Peter and Alice....thank you!
