RépondreSupprimerMardi Gras is this year is February 5th -- it moves around and this is just about as early as it gets (it falls on Feb. 5 about every 40 years. The bulk of the parades start the weekend of Jan. 25. But a lot of balls and parties are going on now. And there is a real raucous parade this week in in the lower French Quarter -- the Krewe du Vieux Do -- which everyone pronounces crew of view.
