That is simply beautiful. I so enjoy the photos of city daily participants. It's a virtual tour of hometowns. And they are all so interesting.

Could this be the model for Stonehenge? First they build it very small to see how it worked and then.... :D
RépondreSupprimerGreat post!
OH, cool, what a great shot. I love that. Beautifully captured and very evocative.
RépondreSupprimerABC Wednesdays, as you probably know, rotate through the alphabet each week, so this week C, next week D, the following week E etc. And then around again. Your shot is stunning!!
That is some object! I'm sorry my French wasn't up to reading the link, but I would suppose that this construction was older than the Celts?
RépondreSupprimerPetunia: Stonehenge was not built by the Celts - it is too old
How fabulous. Love the photo. Another Stonehenge!
RépondreSupprimerWow, that is beautiful:)
RépondreSupprimerFor runee, here's a translation:
RépondreSupprimer"Exceptionally fine dolmen, located in the gardens of the Priory of Saint-Michel-de-Grandmont, between Soumont and Le Bosc.
The structure forms a collective grave from the Bronze Age, known to have contained at least 50 corpses. The Coste-Rouge dolmen is unique in having a hinged door, a corridor and two load-bearing walls. The floor of the burial chamber is in sandstone flags dating from the 2nd Triassic Era, and the circular walls are of granite."
That was a very nice and beautiful photo!!! I love it:)
RépondreSupprimerExpat, thank you very much for your help. Do you mean my dolmen does not have anything to do with Celts ? :-)) I would need to change the title of my post : C for Coste Rouge dolmen!
RépondreSupprimerThank you very much for all your comments.
This is very nice. I love this! BTW..."Non teeny bopper" just means it is not for teenagers or 20 somethings....non trendy clothes that don't show your belly button or your butt crack........more for the over 35 crowd. hope that was helpful!

Ne croyez pas que je copie, mais pour le prochain ABC wednesday, j'avais justement l'intention d'exposer entre autres un dolmen pour "d"!
