Diane the Huntress wishes you a very good year 2008.
She is a bit late but to tell the truth the photo was taken more than a month ago :-))
Diane stands in front of the Maison de l'Agglo de Montpellier (Agglo = agglomération.) The Agglo gathers a large number of cities and towns in my area. The president of the Agglo here is Georges Frêche who is our former mayor and the present president of the Région Languedoc-Roussillon.
Judging by how pretty Diane Chasseresse is, we should all be in for a very good year.
RépondreSupprimerI would love to see the original (copy) of this statue in the Musée du Louvre. The original Greek bronze statue appears to have been lost over time.
I believe that Zeus, King of the Gods, has his eyes on her, perhaps it's no coincidence that she now lives in Place de Zeus ??

RépondreSupprimerle rosé de provence devait etre fort ce weekend ;o)) mais comme c'est une belle diane, elle merite bien deux posts ;o). Il y a donc un leger decalage horaire entre le reste de la France et Montpellier, alors bonne année 2008, merci a toi et a cette miss diane si belle
