I missed Theme Day once again!
I took this photo in the Château de Lavérune in 2008. I really liked the idea of exhibiting wild plants to have them a little better known (and respected).
J'ai pris cette photo au château de Lavérune, près de Montpellier, en 2008. Ce jour-là j'y étais allée pour voir des peintures. J'ai préféré les plantes.
J'ai encore raté le Theme Day. Où ai-je la tête ?

RépondreSupprimerOh Marie, I'm so glad you forgot Theme Day. This is enchanting. I adore wild flowers. A famous gardener once told me there is no such thing as a weed - all weeds are flowers too. Love the photograph.

RépondreSupprimerOne of the great questions of life is "What is a weed"? In South Florida, the powers-that-be think graceful Australian pine trees are weeds and so have been busy destroying for several years.
What a shame. They needed to be controlled, not destroyed!
Wild flowers and weeds, they both love lovely in vases.
RépondreSupprimerLes voilà donc les graminées, source de tous mes soucis d'allergie ! Bon compromis de les admirer sur ton blog, bien présentées dans leur vase vert, et loin de mon nez.
RépondreSupprimerCe sont des espèces non protégées, je suppose ? Si on respecte les interdictions, il y a de moins en moins d'endroits où l'on peut cueillir un brin d'herbe ou ramasser un caillou.
