I took these photos on the campus of Stanford University on May 9th. I beheaded the palm trees because they were too high for my camera. In the lower photo you can see the famous sculpture, The Burghers of Calais, by Rodin. My father is buried in the Calais Cemetery.
J'ai pris ces photos sur le campus de l'université de Stanford, le 9 mai dernier. J'ai dû couper la tête des palmiers (les Français sont des coupeurs de têtes, c'est bien connu). Sur la photo du bas, on peut voir Les Bourgeois de Calais, de Rodin. Mon père a été enterré au cimetière de Calais.
