Graduation leis
On their graduation day, some Berkeley students still wear leis, as hippies did (long ago).
Le jour de la remise des diplômes, certains étudiants de Berkeley portent encore des colliers de fleurs, comme les Hawaïens et les hippies. Mais je n'ai vu aucun "lei" autour du cou de l'un d'entre eux cette année.

Leis are so wonderful and so aromatic. A friend gave me one on May 1st which is Hawai'i's Lei Day. I love all of these and want one of each.

Things change... when we went to our Nr 2's graduation, the students were not allowed to throw their caps in the air!!!

Può darsi che 30 dollari siano troppo per gli studenti. In ogni caso la foto è buona. E' vero che le tradizioni americane non sono molto conosciute in Europa (a parte Alloween)
