After so many rainy days, the level of the Lez had dramatically risen. When I took a few photos of the river around 6PM yesterday, it had already started dropping.
"Every cloud has a silver lining" is the English equivalent of "Après la pluie le beau temps", which La Comtesse de Ségur used as the title of one of her books for children.

Après une dizaine de jours de pluie au moins, le niveau du Lez a sérieusement monté mais quand j'ai pris cette photo et d'autres, il avait déjà commencé à baisser.
