This is the second and last set of flags. I hope I have not forgotten any country. The red flag is the flag of Tonga. The lady is from Tonga too. She is probably famous in her country but I don't know who she is.
4 matches only out of 42 will take place in Montpellier:
- Mercredi 12 septembre à 14h : Etats-Unis/ Tonga
- Dimanche 16 septembre à 16h : Samoa/ Tonga
- Dimanche 23 septembre à 14h30 : Fidji/ Australie
- Dimanche 30 septembre à 20h : Etats-Unis/ Afrique du Sud
The Wallabies trained in the Stade Yves du Manoir here yesterday. My friend Evelyne took a lot of photos of the training for me and sent them this morning. I will post some of them. But why did the Wallabies "train" in Montpellier since, apparently, they are not going to play here?
This is a funny article, online on the site of The Independent:
j'adore la deuxieme affiche, elle est bien trouvé. tu vas aller voir des matchs ?
RépondreSupprimerEh non, Olivier, je ne vais pas aller voir de matches parce que c'est bien trop cher. Et puis c'est fini, il n'y a plus de place libres (sauf des places au marché noir, hors de prix).
RépondreSupprimerI won't attend any matches as the entrance fee was too high for me. You can surely find seats to buy on the black market but they are very expensive...).
il n'y a plus de places libres (j'avais oublié le s de place et je ne sais pas si on peut corriger les commentaires).
RépondreSupprimernice one
RépondreSupprimerBad luck you missed the game. Evelyne will forgive you. However it would be marvellous to hear Nelson Mandela à Paris. He should come to Montpellier, - now, wouldn't that be something great to experience?
RépondreSupprimerInteresting shots. :-)
RépondreSupprimerNO, Marie, I do not know why a rooster is a symbol of France. Tell me, please!
I did not know, that Rugby makes French as crazy as an athletic Finns :), but now I know, thanks to you.
RépondreSupprimerI have to show this your blog to my daughter, she was there ½ years just before she finished her University studies. It was a break before going to the real responsible adulthood.
I will come back!
Je ne savais pas que les américains jouaient au rugby!, mais à travers ton blog on suivra les scores des matchs. En fin de semaine je vais passer devant le stade de France, je verrai sûrement beaucoup de drapeaux aussi.
RépondreSupprimerThanks for signing my guestbook. Still have a way to go to get every state in there.
RépondreSupprimerThe Wallabies play in your city on 23rd Sept, Marie, against Fiji. I have really appreciated your World Cup posts.
