I think I'd love to play chess with giant pieces! Yesterday I taught a 10 year old girl how to play chess. It is best to teach them when they are young because they are very quick to learn the pieces and the moves. I adore chess but I have to say that I'm probably a fairly "average" player. Great photos, Marie.
RépondreSupprimerI have played chess with giant pieces and it was such fun! :-)
RépondreSupprimerMy husband would love that. He's the chess player.

RépondreSupprimerPétanque is played in many cities in USA, too. Here in San Diego we've had a club for at least 25 years.

I'm glad to say we have many female players, too.
Cela ressemble au minigolf de Cabourg.
RépondreSupprimerMarie, i'm a woman and like playing pétanque. Of course,it's not easy to find other players.
RépondreSupprimerYou have to wait until each village's annual fete - and then the women come out and play in their droves....
RépondreSupprimerGreat pictures - only discovered your site today.

I used to love to play chess, but I haven't played it (or any other game) in years. This looks like fun! Nice pix!
