Really, you should have had a picture of a turkey. Here in Germany, all the good turkey comes from France, and I have to say, on the occasions I've cooked it here, it's been a) smaller, and b) tastier than any I've had in the States.
And Olivier, one of the most traditional turkey stuffings in America is oyster stuffing, from back in the 18th Century when oysters were so common and cheap they were considered trash food!
