Fontaine

An old fountain near the Corum.

René Ferris, who was a painter and a fabulous friend, died yesterday. I wrote a short post on my other blog to pay homage to him. My group of friends and I are very sad today...

  3. I am so sorry your friend died. That is very sad. SO you have a link to their work? How sad, My sympathies.

The building is very beautiful. I love the way it seems to disappear into the spray, sort of dreamlike and evocative.

  4. Unfortunately, the link did not work--I hope my instructions were not faulty--if so, I apologize.

    Maybe it is this computer.

René didn't paint landscapes only. The Galerie de l'Ancien Courrier where he exhibited his paintings once a year wanted him to paint according a theme. Last year the theme was "landscapes," the year before it was "houses along the water" or something like that.

Thank you for your nice comments.
