Jean Jaurès
This is the statue of Jean Jaurès. Where does it stand? It's easy to find: you can find it on the "Place Jean Jaurès", of course. :-) Have you ever heard of him?

I think I have read that this is my 200th post!

Well done on your 200th post, Marie. Yes, I've heard of Jean Jaures. Seems many cities have a Place J J or an Avenue JJ but I don't know anything about him?

RépondreSupprimerTu te mets a la mode, tu parles de Jaures ;o)) Dans la soiree de lancement des municipales de notre maire, l'acteur thierry la fronde ( Jean-Claude Drouot, il habite evry et c'est un ami personnel de Mr Valls) nous a lu des lettres de Jaures, c'etait prenant.
La statue est superbe, on dirait qu'il vient vers nous d'un pas très décidè.
