Pain & Cie

Pain & Cie is one of the new trendy restaurants in Montpellier. Pain & Cie is the literal translation of Bread & Co, which is a British and/or American company. Have you heard of it?

I don't know whether Pain & Cie is really related to Bread & Co... It might be.

  1. quel drôle de nom pour un restaurant, sans ton commentaire je misais pour une boulangerie.

  2. The American company is actually called 'Bread & Cie', which everybody pronounces 'bread and see', naturally.

How do I know this? I happen to live just three blocks away, and I walk over and buy their excellent french-style bread most mornings.

  6. This place makes rather good stuff. It is not a 3 stars restaurant for sure but at least it is original...

May I suggest you to add a "google maps" link to your pics? It could help new "Montpelliérains" to find out where these pretty places are!

    Cheers

  7. Je pensais que c'était l' enseigne d'une boulangerie. Peut-être est-ce un resto qui sert des pains spéciaux ? Va savoir !

  13. I reckon that Jean Jaurès would be very happy today, to see how his Place has progressed after all these years.
