I took this photo during the fête catalane that was held in Montpellier a few weeks ago. The musician in the foreground plays a sort of bagpipe called (I think) sac de gemecs (which literally means something like bag of moanings in Catalan-French).
The Catalan band is called a cobla.
If the sound is anything like the bagpipes, then I would love it.

hehehe "Bag of moaning" is a good description for any sound coming from anything resembling a bagpipe!

je ne savais pas qu'à la france il y avait ce type de fêtes! c'est super! bon, je suis catalane et c'est toujours jolie de voire qu'on reconaisait ma culture. ;) oh my god, i've just realised that my french has become so terrible... anyway, i see you are a translator! i'm studying to become one...
