Demosthenes
Demosthenes did not seem to be enjoying his sandwich. I took the photo but I have nothing to do with the sandwich :-))
What I don't like:
Not everyone is a public-spirited citizen in my neighborhood!

The fountain on the Place de la Révolution is brand new! Its water seems to be dancing in the air. Please go to Mrs. Nesbitt's place to...
LOL, no, he looks rather bored with it!
RépondreSupprimerI don't like the litter either. It makes me angry when people can't use a trash can.
Demosthenes' orations and intellectual prowess would probably require something more substantial than a ficelle. No wonder he is looking a bit gloomy today.
RépondreSupprimerPerhaps he was composing a speech on the subject of garbage in the public domain, and was about to litigate against the offenders. If you feed him some brain food, maybe he will solve this pesky problem.
He was pretty successful 2000 years ago.
Hi Marie! Here I am for the weekly visit!
RépondreSupprimerDemosthenes is still trying to get back what is left from his inheritance, hence the gloomy air... ;)
The band looks great, but la crema catalana tastes better... ;)
This Pont du Gard looks much better than mine. And finally, what a gorgeous view of Sète; I was there for the last time in 1976. Getting old...
Blogtrotter, in case you're intersted, has now landed in the imperial town of Marrakesh, the Red City! Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend!
It probably wasn't chicken salad.
RépondreSupprimerI guess every town has it "unsightly" spots.
I like this what you like and don't like series!
RépondreSupprimerIt shows two sides of things, which is more realistic! I love that statue. What an expression! Oh Gods, if I have to eat another tuna sandwich I think I will shoot myself.
I have said it before but I love Montpellier. As a tourist, you can often see only what you want to, the pretty side of life, which is why I adore this series of the uglier side to add balance. I still adore Motpellier, but you help me not to see it through rose tinted glasses,
RépondreSupprimerThis is so true in many big cities.....trashing the city.....Demosthenes looks interesting.
