Two days in Paris
Oh la la, I have not posted any photo for ten days. I arrived in Westport on last Saturday after a very shaky flight between Paris and New York City.
I was surprised to see that the leaves on the trees were still green for the most part. Today they have turned red and yellow but the wind is blowing and so they are falling. Mein Gott, I won't be able to take any photo to send my French friends.
This is a photo of Madame Rana's trailer on the Place Denfert-Rochereau in Paris. Madame Rana, a fortune teller, "vous dit la bonne aventure" in the heart of Paris.

RépondreSupprimerHello, Marie. I wrote you on a more recent post (Nov. 27th) and now see that you are in the US--I had thought Gene was in France! I wanted to ask you a favor when you get back to Montpellier---not sure how long you're in the US. Years ago, I helped some friends set up a restaurant in a little town on the road to Quissac called Corconne. It's not so far from Montpellier, and I was wondering if you could go out and take a photo or two of the village. If you haven't been there, it's quite beautiful. Let me know when you post it/them! Also, when I was living in Paris, I visited a Madame Cecilia in a trailer just like this one...she was very, very accurate; creepy.... Write me at the email link on my blog, please.
