Last night I had dinner at the house of my friend Mireille's good friend Jean. His garden is full of flowers.
I took a few photos of the cannas, which are already withering. Summer is already coming to an end here. That's what I felt last night.
I cannot compete with Abraham, snif snif. :-)
The flower photos are very nice. You are fortunate to have seen them as the season is almost over. As you suggested, it is well on the way to being the dryest summer we have had here for years. Perhaps a century. It is a great effort to keep things growing. Rain does come but seems to skirt us altogether.

RépondreSupprimerIls sont magnifiques ces cannas! hélas dans ma région, ils gèlent et je ne plante plus de fleurs qui gèlent, c'est trop de travail pour les rentrer et je n'ai pas de garage, ni de sous sol, rien qu'une véranda.

RépondreSupprimerI would also love to have Abraham's equipment and talent, but lets face it...he is a lot older and more experienced that you are...and my excuse is he is a little bit older and a lot more experienced than I am...but I keep trying. Your flowers are wonderful...I love cannas.

la premiere est superbe, elle me fait penser aux fleurs que l'on mettait dans les billes à jouer (enfin on mettait pas la fleur dedans, mais cela donner cet effet). de superbes couleurs
