I find this building very nice, but I love modern architecture. My dream would be to have a house combining wood, steel and glass. Who knows, maybe one day (in another life!!). I wonder where this building is, I have never seen it! I need to catch up with your blog before my next trip to Montpellier (though it won't be before August!)
Lezard, do you know how to get to the Hotel de région. Once you are before the spring you turn left and you follow the Lez. This building is about 200 meters from the Hotel de Région (other side of the river).
Runee, when you are before it you see it looks like a big ship. It is strange in shape and color compared to the beautiful white-stone buildings in Montpellier.
Bon We et soigne toi bien !
It looks like it is covered in copper. Thieves steal copper wires here right out of houses and plumbing so I don't think it would last long over here before all the copper would be stolen and sold.
I think it's a rather handsome building, Marie. It has straight, simple lines and is quite substantial. It looks better than many modern buildings I have seen!
Hope you're feeling better now; I assume you are after the Laugh post ;)) This looks somehow the Flatiron NYC; could be the Flatbrick... Have a great weekend! Blogtrotter
