I've been feeling discouraged about human nature after looking at houses and finding rampant "urban mining," where thieves steal everything from the empty houses: toilets, furnace, sinks, water heater, plumbing, wiring--and ruin the houses doing it--very sad. And cars and bicycles too. It is a sad state of human nature.
j'ai vu pas mal de démonstration de Capoeira (et ma grande nièce en fait) et je trouve que cet art martial est vraiment esthétique, un vrai spectacle de danse.
These Capoeiristas are obviously very skillful; it must have been indeed a spectacle to observe. I hope the head butting was just choreographed, not like in former times in Brazil where they fought violently ?
And,,, I am sorry to see the vandalism. However, it happens everywhere.

RépondreSupprimerAnd I HATE the meanness of thieves!

RépondreSupprimerDear Mary, nothing is perfect but even here in Montpellier I shouldn't complain (when I see what's going on in South Africa for the moment).

And why should they break the bike?
RépondreSupprimerNasty ...
Oh well. I guess that is our life. Filled with crime and criminals. Fortunately, there are some sane folks left but none makes the news.
RépondreSupprimerOh Marie, thank you for being such a loyal blog friend. It's good to be back in the Land of Blog.
RépondreSupprimerYou really captured the mood of the day in these shots. And yes, we HATE the thieves.
RépondreSupprimerI love the way you are showing us things you like, and things you don't like....this makes for such an interesting post.

Breaking someone's bicycle is despicable. I don't like it either.
